Service Offerings
In this domain, we are able to support our Customers, with the following service offerings, so as to suit their specific business situation & need.
Note: The term ‘Solution’ collectively refers to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) / Industrial IT Systems, in the below list.
-
Delivering a brand-new Solution [If the processes are currently manual (or) If the asset is a New Production Facility]
-
Uplifting / Modernising the existing Solution (Example: Legacy / Custom Solutions, migrated into ‘Industry Standard’ Solution)
-
Adding New Functionalities into the existing Solution (if there are functionality gaps)
-
Extending the existing Solution into New Production Lines or New Production Facility
-
Supporting the customer organisation for Enterprise-wide Standardization Initiatives / Solution Roll-outs
-
Continuous Improvements & Fine-Tuning as required in the existing Solution
Note : In addition to the above, we will be also able to do pure resource augmentation (Specialist skills supply, Project Management support etc), in the event, customer’s team prefers it (for assisting those MES / Industrial IT projects, directly managed and delivered by their own in-house team).
Typical activities we normally do (as part of our service offerings)
Having noted the above two sections, the following constitutes the set of work-activities, our team normally carries out in a ‘typical’ MES / Industrial IT project (medium to large scale), if it is managed & delivered by us (However this list could vary depending on the scope of project, business need and model of engagement with our Customers).
-
Identification of Project Stakeholders & Understanding their Roles & Responsibilities
-
Engagement with Stakeholders, understanding existing Business Processes / Workflows and Identifying Business Pain Areas and Drivers of Change (Establish Problem statement)
-
Understanding and firming up the Project End State Objectives
-
Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Validation & Getting Customer’s Sign-Off
-
This also includes gathering surrounding information / facts & figures around the project environment
-
The deliverables from this activity are (1) Business Requirements artefact (2) Solution / Technical Requirements artefact
-
-
Current State Evaluation (As-Is) | Future State Definition (To-Be) | Gap Analysis between the two states
-
Site Audits | Assessments to understand project complexities; Risk Identification & Establish Mitigation Measures
-
Defining the Scope of delivery of the Project, through a Scope-of-Works (SOW) artefact
-
Engaging with / managing Technology Product Vendors and other Service Partners
-
Product / Technology Evaluation (against the Business & Technical Requirements)
-
Building of Prototypes / Proof-of-Concept (POC), and Delivery of Demos (where necessary)
-
Preparing the Delivery Project Schedule (Tasks, Timelines, Resources and Inter-dependencies)
